The blown-up tank in the destroyed Ukrainian city of Gostomel, a suburb of Kyiv.
Multiple exposures, collage.
I had to visit the suburbs of Kyiv in those days when the Russian troops had already been ousted from there, but their broken equipment was still lying in the middle of the destroyed streets. Impressed by what I saw, I made this picture. I hope I don't have to do this again.

Multiple exposures. This painting was created during the photo shoot, not through manipulation in post-processing. In the graphics editor, only the color and contrast of the raw file that was received in the camera were corrected.
Just as our modern life is impossible without cars, so modern cities are unthinkable without complex car interchanges. Sometimes architects have to squeeze them into the already-established architecture of the city. Because of what fantastic forms appear. It only remains for me to slightly enhance the surreality of one of these road junctions in Kyiv.

This photo is from the "Layering" series and depicts the Metro Bridge, which connects the right and left banks of the city. The bridge opened on November 5, 1965, and the first line of the Kyiv metro runs through it. The photo shows the right-bank part of the bridge together with the Dnipro metro station. This station was opened on November 6, 1960, and was the ending one before the bridge opened. It is decorated with two sculptures, one of which is "Labor" (sculptors: Edward Kuntsevych and Boleslav Karlovsky) is also in the photo.
